About...
THE INSPIRATION
Honestly, my biggest inspiration is God, His word, and the way He shows His goodness in my life every day. A lot of the ideas for these stories come from the Bible, but also from real conversations I’ve had with the foster kids who’ve lived in my home and the experiences we’ve shared over the years. These kids have impacted me in ways I can’t even put into words, and they’re the reason Mama Niq’s stories exist.
THE BOOKS
​Mama Niq's Stories is a collection of books, short stories, and poems that are faith-based Bible-based, or inspirational. The books are geared towards younger reader who is building their foundation on learning the Bible, as well as finding their path to the inspiration that is within them. They endeavor to reach the audience that finds the rhyme and the rhythm of the stories to be entertaining and intriguing, but with a lasting message that will sustain and hopefully strengthen their lifelong relationship with God.
GIVING BACK
Giving back is just a basic part of the Christian walk. We should be always looking to help our brother because we are just one body in Christ. MamaNiqStories desires to give back to local communities with a focus on children who have had a foster experience or have been adopted. No one ever really knows what goes on in the minds of the children who had these experiences but as a former foster parent, my heart goes out to them and we give back.
